A place filled with history
The Hotel Chateaubriand** has been in the history of Nantes since the early nineteenth century. Breeders came to sell their animals to the slaughterhouses at the Talensac Market site until 1933, which was indicated by the reception room of the rustic inn built in black granite. The walls of the courtyard were equipped with rings to which the animals were attached. The hotel was renovated in 2013 and now offers all the modern comforts without disregarding its historical and original architecture.

Private Parking
Our private parking is available on reservation at the rate of 8 € per night. Before your arrival, please do not hesitate to book as the number of places are limited. The Talensac public car park, situated a few minutes from the hotel, provides additional parking options, at a rate of 19€ for 24h (unlimited entry and exit). We offer free storage for bicycles as well.
Breakfast
Enjoy a breakfast buffet every morning that includes organic and artisanal products such as bread, pastries, hot and cold drinks, cold meats, yogurt, and cheese for 8€ per person per day. It's possible to have a gluten-free breakfast, just inform the reception in advance. If the weather permits, your breakfast can be served indoors or outdoors.
A pet-friendly hotel
You love your pets and so do we! The Hôtel Chateaubriand welcomes them with pleasure for a supplement of €5. Do not hesitate to ask for more information at our reception when making your reservation.

Reception
Notre réception est ouverte de 6h30 à 11h00 et de 17h00 à 21h00. En dehors de ces horaires, vous avez la possibilité de vous enregistrer depuis votre téléphone portable avant votre arrivée à l’hôtel. Et vous pourrez ensuite récupérer vos clés à la borne située dans la cour intérieure de l’établissement.

Monuments such as the Cathedral and Château des Ducs are just a 5-minute walk away.

- By car: 8 parking spaces on site. Contact us to reserve one for €8 per night.
- By bike: free, covered and secure on-site parking.
- By streetcar: "50 Otages" stop on line 2, 50 m from the hotel.
- By train: 20-minute walk from the SNCF train station or 10-minute ride on the C2 bus (from the south station, destination "le Cardo", "Talensac" stop).
- By plane: between 20mn and 50mn by cab depending on traffic. A shuttle bus takes you to the SNCF train station for €9.
